The Odesa Regional Center for Recruitment and Social Support called fictitious the information that a man jumped through a window in the district TCC and JCC in Ovidiopol trying to escape and broke two arms and received other injuries.

According to the regional TCC, none of the events described in the aforementioned publications were recorded on the territory of the Odesa RCC and TCC in Ovidiopol.

"No citizen was injured on the premises of the center, and reports of hospitalization in serious condition are unreliable," the regional TCC said.

They also suggested that the publication of such information is aimed solely at discrediting mobilization activities and artificially creating social tension.

Earlier, a number of telegram channels disseminated information that a 42-year-old man was seriously injured in Ovidiopol as a result of an attempt to escape from the premises of the territorial recruitment center. The authors of the post reported numerous fractures and hospitalization.

Earlier, the Odesa Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support called the order distributed on behalf of Yuriy Puiko, which allows military personnel of the TCC to use service weapons during document checks, a falsification. At that time, it was about allowing the TCC military to shoot at citizens who interfere with the work of the alert groups.

At the end of 2025, Odesa police identified the RCCC and JV servicemen who had beaten a serviceman released from captivity. The police launched a criminal investigation and found that two servicemen of the Peresypsk District Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support were involved in the incident, beating the applicant during the conflict while checking his military records.
