On the night of March 16, Odesa was attacked by Russian drones again. Numerous explosions were heard in the city, and drones circled over residential and industrial areas of the city.
According to the press service of the State Emergency Service in Odesa region, fires broke out at several addresses - private houses were burning, and warehouse buildings were damaged.
In one house, a family escaped by following the "two walls" rule. The building itself was completely destroyed.
According to preliminary information from rescuers, three people were injured in the attack.
Psychologists from the State Emergency Service and the police were working on the ground. Fifty-two firefighters and 15 pieces of equipment from the State Emergency Service, as well as two pieces of equipment and five people from the Association of Volunteer Firefighters of Ukraine were involved in the aftermath.
Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov informed that operational services are working on the spot. Once their work is completed, municipal crews will start restoring the city. Employees of the district administration promised to start work in the morning.
Intent has already written that 8 civilians were injured as a result of an attack by Russian drones on the night of April 14 in Odesa.
On the night of April 1 to April 2, Russian troops attacked Odesa region using attack drones. The shelling damaged residential and municipal facilities in the villages of Khlibodarske and Radisne.
There were also reports of a fire, damage to houses and one injured person as a result of Russian air strikes in Odesa region on March 28.
