Odesa Executive Committee considered 130 issues of compensation for real estate damaged by Russia

The Executive Committee of Odesa City Council met on December 25 to consider 173 issues.

As noted in the agenda, most of the issues concern compensation for destroyed real estate as a result of hostilities, terrorist acts, and sabotage caused by the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.

The issues were separately considered both by district administrations - Prymorska submitted 12 such projects, Khadzhybey - three, and by the Department of City Improvement, which submitted 116 commission decisions to the executive committee meeting.

The executive committee also decided to propose to the Odesa City Council a draft decision "On the inclusion of the share of the Executive Committee of the Odesa City Council in the amount of 25% in the authorized capital of the Radio-Odesa Broadcasting Company in the form of a Limited Liability Company in the List of Small-scale Privatization Objects of Communal Property of the Territorial Community of Odesa Subject to Privatization and its Privatization".

It is also to submit for consideration to the Odesa City Military Administration, amendments to the 2026 budget, and a number of city target programs.

In addition, the executive committee will make decisions that are directly within its competence, such as dismantling stationary temporary structures at 158/1 Lustdorfska Road, pavilions at 33 Itskhaka Rabin Street, and a pavilion at 49 Romashkova Street.

Prior to that, on December 18, Odesa convened an extraordinary executive committee to decide that entrepreneurs who open or maintain indestructibility points will be reimbursed for the costs of power generators and their maintenance. In addition, the city will reimburse fuel and exempt municipal property from rent until the end of martial law.
