Odesa City Council decides to convene an extraordinary meeting

Odesa Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov has ordered the city council to convene an extraordinary session.

The announcement was made by the city council's press service.

The first issue will be the decision to take out a loan of more than UAH 623 million. The deputies will also make changes to the budget to take into account the subventions that have been received. According to the Department of Finance, the loan is planned to be taken out for 36 months, but if there are balances in the budget, it is possible to repay the loan ahead of schedule. Over three years, the interest on the loan will amount to UAH 171 million.

It is also planned to approve the City Target Program for the Preservation of Odesa's Cultural Heritage for 2025-2028. UAH 18 million 865.8 thousand has been allocated from the state budget of Ukraine for meals for students of general secondary education institutions, as well as UAH 11 million 150 thousand for meals for primary school students.

Amendments to the City Target Program "Barrier-Free Odesa" for 2023-2028, approved by the Odesa City Council in 2023. It is also planned to approve a new version of the charter of the Municipal Institution "Municipal Land Resources Service of Odesa City Council". To grant permission to Ruta Nova-L Plus LLC to develop a land management project for the allocation of a 0.3-hectare land plot at 131-A Balkivska Street, the purpose of which is being changed.

Granting consent to the Municipal Institution "Odesa Municipal Youth Center" to carry out major repairs of the communal property of the territorial community at 83/85 Uspenska Street, as well as to the Department of Capital Construction and Road Facilities of the Odesa Regional State Administration to carry out major repairs of the communal property of the territorial community of Odesa at 32-A Akademika Zabolotnoho Street.
