Odesa Art Museum was visited by 15 thousand people last year

The Odesa National Art Museum reported that last year 15,562 people visited its exhibitions and expositions.

This became known during the presentation of the museum's report on its work last year.

The museum held 547 excursions. The total budget of the museum for 2025 amounted to UAH 18 million 832 thousand, most of which - UAH 11 million 574 thousand - was received by the museum for salaries and utilities from the budget of the Odesa Regional Council. The museum earned another UAH 1 million 435 thousand from ticket sales, and UAH 1 million 385 thousand from sales of museum merchandise. The rest of the funds were received from charitable foundations.

Last year, the museum also regularly held exhibitions, for example, a solo exhibition of artist and sculptor Valeriy Basants was held at the Odesa National Art Museum in September 2025.

On June 28, the Odesa National Art Museum hosted an exhibition of works by students of the Odesa Art College in honor of the 160th anniversary of the institution.

On June 8, the Odesa National Art Museum presented an updated online archive of documents that records the long history of Odesa art. One of the parts of the event was a conversation with art critic and performer Ute Kielter, who provided the museum with the most representative collection among our contemporaries.

In April 2025, the Odesa National Art Museum hosted a screening of a film by artist and curator Ihor Husiev about the underground contemporary art gallery NORM, which existed in Odesa in 2008-2011. The film featured: Serhiy Anufriev, Anna Aliyeva, Leonid Voitsekhov, Igor Gusev, Dmytro Dulfan, Mykyta Kadan, Zhanna Kadyrova, Ute Kielter, Stas Podlypsky, and Oleksandr Roitburd.
