The National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption has found inaccuracies in the declaration of Oleksandr Urban skyi, Deputy Head of the Odesa Regional Council, for 2023 totaling UAH 540 thousand during a full audit.

According to the NACP, during the inspection, Oleksandr Urbanskyi indicated in his declaration a whole collection of branded watches, including Chopard, Breguet and Patek Philippe.

At the same time, the NACP employees were unable to establish the exact value of this property. In addition, the politician declared UAH 40 thousand in his bank account, while as of the end of the reporting period, the negative balance was UAH -53.8 thousand. Also, Oleksandr Urbanskyi did not include in his declaration 500 thousand hryvnias that he spent on the purchase of a car.

In October, it turned out that the politician had bought the car in the spring of 2023 at a reduced price of UAH 500 thousand. The National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NAPC) found violations in Oleksandr Urbanskyi 's declaration and announced a possible fine of UAH 17,000 to 42,000.

According to the purchase agreement, the commission to the intermediary was only UAH 100, and the price of the car was listed as UAH 500,000, which is 10 times less than the market value. The Interior Ministry's service center confirmed this information to the NACP. The politician assured that it was a "technical error."

In addition, it turned out that the deputy chairman of the regional council sold the car he received from his ex-wife for 18 thousand hryvnias for more than 4 million. His previous car, an Audi SQ7, was also underreported in his declaration at UAH 500,000, although it could have cost about UAH 4.8 million.

Meanwhile, Natalia, the wife of the deputy head of the Odesa Regional Council, became the owner of two apartments in Greece in December 2022, with an area of 203.5 and 150 square meters, respectively.

In 2022, Natalia Urbanska also acquired 100 shares in the Bulgarian Trans Forward LLC at UAH 964 per share and five Ukrainian government bonds of UAH 1,000 each.
