Odesa's Deputy Mayor Hanna Pozdnyakova Declares ₴998K Income and Assets

Hanna Pozdnyakova, deputy mayor of Odesa on the activities of the council's executive bodies, has submitted her annual income and property declaration for 2024.

According to the Center for Public Investigations, this became known from the Unified State Register of Declarations.

Pozdnyakova declared two apartments in her ownership and another in use. The first apartment of 33.6 m² has belonged to her since 2016, and the second is a 51.5 m² office space registered in 2017. The third apartment is much more spacious, 86.8 m², which she has been using since 2022. The owner of this apartment is Alla Pozdnyakova, the official's mother.

The declaration lists two daughters, Maria and Anastasiia, who live with their mother in Odesa, but there is no information about her husband.

In 2024, Pozdniakova earned UAH 533 thousand as vice mayor, and another UAH 455 thousand as a salary at the Odesa City Heat Supply Utility, which she headed until June 2024. Additionally, the declaration includes UAH 10,320 of state aid at the birth of a child. In total, the official's income for the year amounted to more than UAH 998 thousand.

In addition to her salary, Trukhanov's deputy declared $25 thousand in cash. She also has accounts in two Ukrainian banks, PrivatBank and Universal Bank, but the amounts on them are not specified.

In addition, the official has 6.02 bitcoins on her account, which at the current exchange rate exceeds 20 million hryvnias. Interestingly, last year her crypto wallet was much heavier - 14,037 bitcoins.

Among the assets listed in the declaration is a luxurious sable fur coat and jewelry from the Italian brand Damiani: a wedding ring, earrings, and a white gold pendant with diamonds. The official also listed a Louis Vuitton handbag. All property was listed as acquired before the first declaration.

According to analysts, in 2021, the largest amount of bitcoin among Odesa officials was declared by Hanna Pozdnyakova, director of the Odesa City Heat Supply Utility, which amounted to UAH 53 million.

Another vice mayor, Valeriy Silin, earned UAH 1 million 126 thousand in 2024, and more than UAH 600 thousand in pensions.
