According to the executive committee of the Pivdenoukrainsk City Council, inspections revealed that the water did not meet the standard, and restrictions were imposed on its use.

Residents are prohibited from using water from mine (public) wells for drinking, cooking and hygiene.

The restrictions apply to the following settlements:

📍 Ivanivka village:

📍 Pankratovo village:

📍 Konstantinovka village:

The city council urges residents to be careful and follow the recommendations to avoid health risks.

Earlier, Intent wrote that the quality of tap water in Mykolaiv almost meets the standards: deviations from drinking water standards were recorded only for one indicator. Experts continue to monitor the situation, noting that the water in the city's networks meets all other criteria.

The Mykolaiv city authorities have planned to extend the reimbursement program for the repair of in-building networks until 2026. They decided to allocate over UAH 116 million for this purpose.

The Mykolaiv City Council has decided to update the Program for reimbursement of costs for the restoration of intra-building water supply, sewage and heat supply networks for co-owners of apartment buildings. The program, which was in effect for 2023-2025, is to be extended in 2026.

The decision of the city council provides for an increase in funding - a total of UAH 116.4 million for 2023-2026, of which half is from the city budget and the other half from additional sources. Funding is distributed by year: UAH 20 million in 2023, UAH 26 million in 2024, UAH 32 million in 2025, and UAH 38.4 million is planned for 2026.
