In the temporarily occupied Crimea, problems with the power grid have caused disruptions in the water supply in Sudak and a number of other settlements on the peninsula. Meanwhile, in Krasnoperekopsk, water service has been restricted in some buildings due to emergency repair work.

Thiswas reported by “Crimea. Realities,” citing the Russian occupation enterprise “Water of Crimea.”

In Krasnoperekopsk, the restrictions apply to buildings in Microdistrict 10—Nos. 21, 23, 24, 31, 32, and 33. Water service there is tentatively scheduled to be restored by 5:00 p.m. Water delivery has been organized between buildings No. 33 and No. 18.

Meanwhile, in Sudak, an unstableand limited water supply has been reported due to problems with the power grid. Outages have also affected Ordzhonikidze, Novyi Svit, Shchebetovka, Koktebel, Kurortne, Podgornoye, Pivdenne, Nanikove, Krasnokamianka, Morske, Gromovka, Mizhrichchia, Soniachna Dolyna, Dachne, Vesele, and Bohativka.

The Russian company has not specified the cause of the problems with the power grids.

As a reminder, in Russian-occupied Crimea, water reserves in reservoirs began to drop sharply in early fall. Many rivers have become shallow or completely dried up due to the dry weather.

Earlier, on the night of July 19, the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Forces struck 13 power substations—eight of which are located in the temporarily occupied Crimea—and also hit four vessels of Russia’s “shadow fleet” in the Black Sea.

In addition, on July 12–13, units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Unmanned Systems Forces (USF) carried out massive strikes on the Kuban–Crimea power bridge, 10 power distribution hubs, and 5 air defense systems in Crimea.
