Mykolaiv plans to restore house damaged by shelling

Mykolaiv plans to overhaul a multi-storey building damaged by Russian aggression. The expected cost of the works is almost UAH 13 million, and they are to be completed by the end of September.

This is evidenced by the data of the Prozorro procurement system.

The Department of Housing and Communal Services of Mykolaiv City Council has announced a tender for the overhaul of a residential building located on Admiralska Street.

It is about restoring an apartment building that was damaged during the shelling. The terms of reference state that these are works that are envisaged as part of measures to restore the housing stock destroyed or damaged due to the war.

The expected cost of the works is UAH 12 million 687 thousand. The bidding is scheduled for May 21, and contractors can submit their proposals until May 20. The winner must complete all work by September 30, 2025.

The tender conditions require a bank guarantee in the amount of UAH 63 thousand, which must be executed in the form of an electronic document in accordance with the requirements of the law. The contractor is not required to secure the contract after signing it.

Payment for the work will be made upon completion, within 20 banking days.

At the end of March, the Housing and Utilities Department of Mykolaiv City Council planned to overhaul an apartment building on Mykolaivska Street at a cost of over UAH 4 million. However, the tender did not take place due to the lack of participants.

At the same time, work continues in Mykolaiv's Korabelnyi district to restore housing and social infrastructure damaged by Russian shelling. With the support of Denmark and the UN, windows and doors are being replaced in 25 high-rise buildings, roofs and facades are being repaired, and destroyed sports grounds are being restored. The reconstruction of Lisky is also underway with the support of Denmark. The project plans to restore 12 buildings, repair roads and pedestrian areas, and replace windows and balconies in apartments.
