Mykolaiv district courts have the highest workload in the region due to a lack of judges, which significantly delays the consideration of cases.

This was reported by the Law and Business publication.

Thus, the High Qualification Commission of Judges (HQCJ) has announced the recruitment of four judges for temporary secondment to the Leninsky District Court of Mykolaiv. This court was included in the list of institutions where the HQCJ proposes to transfer judges for an indefinite period.

Judges wishing to work in Mykolaiv must submit a consent to the secondment in the prescribed form by March 11, 2025. The application must be accompanied by a certificate in the prescribed form and other documents that may affect the decision.

The documents can be submitted in person or sent by mail, including electronic mail. Scanned copies of paper documents must be sent by e-mail no later than the next day after they are sent. All electronic materials must be signed with a qualified electronic signature.

Meanwhile, a court in Mykolaiv has seized the property of corruption suspects. The suspects face up to ten years in prison with confiscation of property for helping to evade mobilization.

Recently, the Mykolaiv court invalidated a sale and purchase agreement due to the buyer's failure to fulfill its obligations and ordered the property to be returned to the state. The prosecutor appealed to the court due to the inaction of the State Property Fund, and the decision has already entered into force.

And the Fifth Administrative Court of Appeal upheld the prosecutor's claim and ordered the Vesnianske village council to accept the cultural center with a shelter for 500 people into communal ownership. Due to the absence of a formalized ownership right, the facility was in a state of disrepair, which created risks for local residents.
