In Mykolaiv, the deputies considered the initiative of their colleague regarding the situation with the payment of wages in the city's medical institutions. In particular, they discussed the arrears for the last three months.

This became known during the broadcast of the Standing Committee on Housing and Communal Services.

The commission decided to support the appeal to the city health department with a request to provide written information on

The chairman of the commission emphasized that this issue had been raised many times before, but the assurances given about resolving the situation had not been documented. Therefore, the commission will officially appeal to the Healthcare Department to provide full and transparent information in writing.

"We are now supporting the appeal of our colleague-deputy, because this issue has been raised repeatedly, and we want to see what happened on paper, not just the words "yes, we closed it"," he said.

All members of the commission present voted in favor of the decision.

As previously reported by Intent, doctors at Maternity Hospital No. 3 and the emergency hospital have not been paid since the beginning of the year. The healthcare department explained the delay by the late conclusion of the contract with the NHSU, but promised that the debts would be repaid by the end of February.

Meanwhile, the Mykolaiv Regional Children's Clinical Hospital is planning a large-scale reconstruction that will cover several buildings of the medical institution. UAH 167 million is planned to be allocated for these works in 2025-2026.
