The Security Service of Ukraine and the Prosecutor's Office have served a notice of suspicion to a local businessman who illegally seized components for shipboard artillery systems worth almost $1.5 million.

This was reported by the SBU.

The offender illegally seized the weapons during a full-scale war and was going to transport them to Russia. The weapons in question are various types of artillery systems, including six-barreled AO-18 assault rifles and AK-176M universal mounts. These weapons are used on warships to engage high-speed targets at short distances, including enemy drones and cruise missiles.

To covertly export the scarce combat systems, the entrepreneur placed them in specially made containers that looked like water heaters.

To conceal the final recipient, the suspect planned to transport the weapons through affiliated companies to the EU and Southeast Asia, and from there - to the aggressor country. For this purpose, he entered into fictitious contracts with controlled foreign companies.

SBU officers exposed the dealer at the stage of preparation for the export of defense products and detained him. During the searches of warehouses and offices, the SBU seized artillery systems in containers, additional components for military boats and contracts with foreign companies.

The seized weapons will be transferred to the Ukrainian Defense Forces. The offender was served a notice of suspicion of preparing to smuggle weapons (Part 1 Art. 14, Part 2 Art. 201 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The offender is in custody. He faces up to 12 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property. The investigation is ongoing.

The SBU Odesa Sanatorium conducted a procurement to select a company that will be paid to replace individual window and door blocks in three buildings of the sanatorium.

This includes the replacement of broken and damaged window and door glass in auxiliary rooms and common areas, repair and replacement of individual window frames and window sills, replacement of ebbs and flows in Building 1, Building 2, Building 3 and the clubhouse at the sanatorium.

Two companies took part in the auction : Tehenergoimport LLC and Ama-Bud LLC. Tehenergoimport was chosen as the winner. The company agreed to work for UAH 6 million.

According to the YouControl service, the company was registered in Kyiv in 2014. The owner is Anatoliy Druziuk from Zaporizhzhia. If the agreement is concluded, the company must complete the work by December 15, 2025.
