Mykolaiv Alumina Plant has reoffered almost seven tons of aluminum for sale, significantly reducing its price. The product was produced in 2019 in Russia.

According to an announcement on the Prozorro.sale platform, the auction is scheduled for March 11. The previous auction, which was supposed to take place on February 4 at a starting price of UAH 13.8 million, did not take place due to the lack of buyers. To attract more bidders, the company reduced the starting price to UAH 8.85 million.

The minimum price increase step is UAH 88,560. The same amount must be paid by the winner of the tender in the form of a guarantee fee.

The buyer must issue a pass. The letter should indicate the purpose and full name of the persons who will be inspecting the property, the name and registration number of the vehicle on which they will enter the territory of the industrial site of MGZ LLC.

For violations of the requirements for labor protection, road safety, fire safety and ecology, penalties may be imposed in the amount of:

- UAH 5 thousand for a single violation of the requirements;

- UAH 10 thousand for repeated violation of the requirements.

Payment will be made within five days of receipt of the invoice. If the buyer fails to export the entire quantity of goods by March 31, 2025, the buyer will have to pay a fine of 10% of the value of the aluminum not exported.

The tender documents show that the aluminum was manufactured at Rusal's Volgograd branch and the delivery date is November 25, 2018. The batch is packaged in 45-kilogram bags. In total, the company plans to sell 6,749 kilograms of aluminum.

Law enforcement is currently investigating the financial activities of the Mykolaiv Alumina Plant, which was previously owned by Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska. The company ceased operations on March 1, 2022. At the time, its owner, the Russian corporation Rusal, explained this by logistical difficulties in the Black Sea region.

In July of the same year, the court transferred the corporate rights of the plant to the ARMA, and in June 2023, the High Anti-Corruption Court finally confiscated the company from Deripaska. According to the SBU and the State Bureau of Investigation, Ukraine nationalized the assets of the sanctioned businessman worth UAH 10 billion.

At the end of January 2025, the SBU blocked the supply of strategic raw materials to the Russian military industry. The court seized over UAH 2 billion of raw materials belonging to Deripaska. The investigation revealed that these products were intended for Russian Rusal plants that manufacture components for Iskander ballistic missiles , combat drones and radar systems.
