MP Dmytruk is put on the international wanted list

The current MP Artem Dmytruk was put on the international wanted list. He is suspected of attacks on citizens.

This was reported by the State Bureau of Investigation.

According to the SBI investigation, the suspected MP, while in Odesa, together with his accomplices, attacked a law enforcement officer who was performing his official duties. The MP intentionally inflicted bodily harm on the law enforcement officer and tried to steal his weapon.

In another case, in Kyiv, a deputy had a quarrel with a citizen and during the conflict struck him several times, including blows to the head. According to the expert, these actions of the MP caused the victim moderate bodily harm.

The Member of Parliament of Ukraine was suspected of:

• intentional infliction of light bodily harm to a law enforcement officer by a group of persons while performing his official duties (Part 1 of Article 28, Part 2 of Article 345 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)
• Attempt to steal firearms by a group of persons (Article 15(2), Article 28(1), Article 262(1) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine);
• intentional infliction of bodily harm of moderate severity (Article 122(1) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine);
• gross violation of public order on the grounds of manifest disrespect for society, accompanied by particular audacity (Article 296(1) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

On Sunday, August 25, it was reported that MP Artem Dmytruk, who was elected from the Servant of the People party and is now a non-factional member, illegally left the country.

On the same day, Dmytruk was notified of suspicion for attacking a law enforcement officer and a soldier.

Law enforcement officers opened a criminal investigation into the possible illegal crossing of the state border by MP Artem Dmytruk.

Artem Dmytruk is a Member of Parliament of the IX convocation (since 2019), elected in constituency 133 (Odesa region). He is also an entrepreneur and professional athlete who ran the professional boxing federation of Odesa and the region.

In July 2024, he became a subdeacon of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate (UOC-MP).

In November last year, Artem Dmytruk joined those who wanted to preserve the Moscow Patriarchate in Ukraine. In October 2023, Artem Dmytruk was accused of beating a man in the capital.

Earlier, the police opened proceedings on the fact of violence against a public figure because of MP Artem Dmytruk's statement about the beating. The MP allegedly came to one of Odesa's business centers to check whether a criminal call center was operating there.

In November 2021, Dmytruk was expelled from the Servant of the People faction.
