Last year's breadwinner was chosen for schoolchildren of Khadzhibey district

The Center for Financing and Economic Activities and Institutions of the Education System of Khadzhybeyskyi District of Odesa has conducted a procurement to select a company that will supply food for schoolchildren.

This is reported in the Prozorro electronic procurement system.

The procurement was held in the format of an open tender with special conditions on January 28, and the only participant was the private enterprise Ration Group. According to the YouControl service, the owner and director of the private enterprise Ration Group is Maksym Yatsenko. The procurement was conducted in the format of an open tender with special conditions and the company had no competitors.

By December 31, the company will have to provide hot breakfast for 3,700 students in grades 1-4, hot lunch for 2,465 students in the same grades, breakfast for 475 students in grades 5-11, lunch for 710 students in these grades, and gluten-free and lactose-free meals for five children. For this, the school expects to receive UAH 22 million 358.7 thousand.

Earlier, the Center for Financing and Economic Activity of Educational Institutions of the Peresypskyi District of Odesa conducted a tender to select a company that will be paid to provide meals to students of the district's general secondary education institutions. The procurement was conducted in the format of an open tender with special features, and the only participant was Fabrika Smaku Limited Liability Company.

On the eve of the start of the school year, Olena Buynevych, Director of the Department of Education and Science of the Odesa City Council, said that meals would be provided to children in grades 1-4 and children from privileged categories starting on September 8. She explained this by the fact that in some places procurement procedures have not yet been completed.

In particular, according to the Prozorro system, a tender is expected to be held on September 8 to select a company that will organize meals for students in the Kyiv district of Odesa. However, if there is only one participant, the procurement will be held on September 6, the deadline for submitting proposals.

Last year, the Centers for Finance and Economic Activity and educational institutions of four Odesa districts held tenders to select companies that would supply meals for schoolchildren. In particular, Prymorskyi and Peresypskyi districts chose Fabrika Smaku LLC, while Kyivskyi and Khadzhybeyskyi districts chose Ration Group, a private enterprise.

In September 2022, the Center for Public Investigations analyzed the composition of companies participating in tenders for the right to feed Odesa schoolchildren and identified the main players in this market in Odesa. The experts identified Fabrika Smaku LLC as one of the leaders.

Instead, Ratsiy Group PE was included in the second group of caterers, which received fewer tenders than Fabrika Smaku LLC and other leaders.
