According to Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, these strikes ended the lives of 29 residents of the region, and another 237 sustained injuries of varying severity.

"They were not on the battlefield. Some were going to buy bread, some were returning from work, some were just standing in their yards. But the Russians attacked them - cynically and ruthlessly," the official said.

According to him, more than half of the victims are the consequences of the Russian drone safari.

"The enemy purposefully killed 17 people from the wings and injured 142 residents of the region," Prokudin added.

Earlier , Roman Mrochko, head of the Kherson MVA, said that in January 2025, the city lost 16 people.

"This is about the same number of people killed and wounded in December 2024 as a result of Russian attacks ," he said.

The occupiers continue to deliberately destroy civilian infrastructure and attack civilians, leaving Kherson residents no chance for a peaceful life.

Kherson is under daily attack by Russian occupation forces. Numerous explosions are heard in the city, civilians are killed and injured.

Also in Kherson, police explosive technician Oleksandr Viter was killed during demining after Russian attacks . Before that, six employees of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, who were engaged in humanitarian demining in Kherson region, came under targeted fire from the Russians and were killed.
