Russians dropped explosives from a drone on people in Kherson

Russian troops shelled residential areas of 38 settlements in Kherson region over the past day.

According to Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Kherson, Beryslav, Bilozerka, Antonivka, Kizomys, Tomyna Balka, Yantarne, Mykilske, Novoberislav, Zmiivka, Novodmitrivka, Kizomys, Komyshany, and others were hit.

As a result of Russian aggression, one person was killed and four others were wounded.

The occupiers struck residential areas, damaging five private houses, a gas pipeline and several cars.

Later, the Kherson Regional Military Administration reported one more death in Kherson. It was a 22-year-old local resident who was hit by the occupiers' drone bomb.

The Kherson District Prosecutor's Office launched a pre-trial investigation into this fact under the article on violation of the laws and customs of war, which led to the death of a person (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Prosecutors and investigators continue to collect evidence of war crimes committed by the occupiers in the Kherson region.

According to updated information from the Kherson MIA, on the evening of January 31, Russian terrorists attacked a father and son returning home from work in the Dniprovskyi district with a drone. Both worked for a utility company.

The 22-year-old man was unfortunately killed as a result of the enemy dropping explosives from the drone. A 44-year-old man was wounded and hospitalized.

In addition, an 84-year-old local resident who sustained a mine-blast injury and concussion on January 29, sought medical attention only two days later. He was prescribed outpatient treatment.

Also in Dniprovsky district, the occupiers attacked a 56-year-old Kherson resident with a drone, causing him shrapnel wounds to his legs and chest. He was hospitalized in serious condition.

Another man, a 44-year-old local resident, was injured in a Russian drone attack on January 31 at around 19:30. He sustained contusion, mine-blast and closed head injuries, and shrapnel wounds to his face. His condition is assessed as moderate.
