In Mykolaiv region, explosive experts found unexploded occupant weapons. The police neutralized it remotely in a specially prepared place.
According to the Mykolaiv Oblast Police Communication Department, residents of two communities in the region found a drone warhead and an unexploded high-explosive cluster munition in the fields.
Explosive experts arrived to inspect the area and neutralize the remnants of the enemy weapon. It turned out that during one of the attacks, air defense fighters shot down a UAV, but the detonation did not occur, and the drone remained dangerous, as it contained up to 50 kilograms of explosives.
Residents of the village of Shevchenkivska community informed the police about the cluster munition near their homes. Since cluster munitions are very dangerous and cannot be transported, the bomb squad destroyed it on the spot with a controlled explosion, following all safety standards.

This week, experts from the police explosive service department inspected 6 hectares of land and seized 25 dangerous munitions. The police press service called for maximum caution and reporting suspicious items to the relevant services.
The pyrotechnics were assisted by colleagues from four other regions in demining Mykolaiv region. There are 12 SES brigades in the region, including underwater mechanized, mine-search and pyrotechnic demining teams. Thus, the pyrotechnics surveyed 7723 hectares of territory. In the region, sappers found and destroyed 25,655 explosive items.
Most of the work on demining agricultural land was carried out in Mykolaiv and Kherson regions. In August, sappers surveyed 23.4 thousand hectares of frontline areas. Mine clearance in the de-occupied and frontline areas brings life back to these regions, giving farmers the opportunity to work again.
In July, explosives experts from Mykolaiv region took a training course at the International Law Enforcement Academy in Budapest, Hungary. American FBI experts taught Ukrainian law enforcement officers how to construct electronic circuits and systems for detonating improvised explosive devices.
