In Odesa region, two media outlets - Intent and the Center for Public Investigations - have been included in the updated Recommended Media Map, an interactive map that marks the most reliable publications in Ukraine.

This became known from the interactive map published by the Institute of Mass Information.

In the Odesa region, the Center for Public Investigations was included in the list for the first time, and Intent was once again included in the map as an online publication.

Among other online media in the region, the map includes Podrobytky More People, Rayon.Bolhrad, Rayon.Izmail, Odeske Zhyttia, Bilyayivka.City, Mahala, Odesa.Online and Informer.od.ua. The map also includes Suspilne Odesa TV channel and Ukrainian Radio Odesa.

In the fourth set of the project, 53 media outlets from all regions of Ukraine received the status of recommended - 48 more than in 2024. Currently, the Map covers 193 online media outlets, 8 regional investigative journalism centers, 21 radio stations and 31 TV channels. The highest number of recommended media is in Kyiv and its region - 31, Volyn region - 29, Kharkiv region - 17, Odesa region - 14, Donetsk region - 12.

The media were evaluated by experts from the Institute of Mass Information and Media Detector based on 14 criteria, including transparency, compliance with professional standards and journalistic ethics. Online media outlets were evaluated by IMI experts, and radio and TV channels were evaluated by DM experts. The sample covered October-November 2025.

The Recommended Media Map project is implemented with the support of the EU and aims to support media that adhere to high standards of journalism. It was launched in September 2023, with 142 media outlets included in the first stage, 176 in the second, and 205 in the third.

Last year, the Interactive Map of Recommended Ukrainian Media was updated. The list includes 11 publications from Odesa region - online media, TV channels and radio stations.

Based on the results of an independent expert assessment, 174 Ukrainian media resources, including Intent, were included in the updated list.

Earlier, Intent co-founded the UA Recovery Window MediaNetwork, which includes independent media, NGOs and think tanks focused on high-quality and transparent coverage of all aspects of Ukraine's recovery. This association was launched on January 22, 2024.

It has also joined the JTI ( Journalism Trust Initiative) Emergency Protocol of Reporters Without Borders (RBC), first implemented in Ukraine in partnership with NewsGuard.
