Work has begun to restore an apartment building at 51 Novoselsky Street in Odesa, which has been repeatedly damaged by Russian shelling, the last hit occurring in November 2024.

According to the press service of the Odesa City Council, the shelling severely damaged the exterior structural elements and the roof.

After completing all the necessary procedures and holding a tender, the contractor began full restoration of the facility. Emergency response works are currently underway: the emergency outbuilding is being dismantled, including the supporting structures, floors and walls that need to be replaced. We are also continuing to repair the roof damaged by the blast wave - the work on the left wing has been completed, and the roof of the front wing is being re-roofed.

The contractor for this restoration was selected in March 2025. It is the Odeskolovpostach Repair and Construction Site Limited Liability Company. According to the agreement, the company expects to receive UAH 11 million 855.2 thousand for these works.

Also in March, the company received a contract from the Department of Municipal Economy of Odesa City Council for the overhaul of a residential building at 14 Vitaliy Blazhko (formerly Marinesko) Descent. The procurement was conducted in the format of an open tender with peculiarities, and the winner, the private joint-stock company "Repair and Construction Site Odeskolovpostach," did not have any relatives.

In 2021, the Center for Public Investigations compiled a rating of companies that won tenders announced by the Road Department of Odesa City Council within 9 months of that year.

Among the ten largest recipients of funds from the department was the "Repair and Construction Section "Odeskolovpostach".
