The Izmail City Central Hospital has selected a contractor for the next stage of the overhaul of the adult polyclinic on Klushina Street in Izmail, Odesa Oblast.
It was Rodnik, a private enterprise owned by city councilman Ihor Dekhtyarev, Intent reported, citing the Prozorro public procurement website.
The deputy's firm was competing with a single bidder, Mykolaiv-based Interbud Construction Company LLC. Despite the lower bid, the tender committee rejected their proposal due to inconsistencies in the information and documents that were not eliminated within the allotted time.
The working draft envisages the following works in the bathrooms on three floors: repair of internal engineering networks with the replacement of equipment; replacement of old windows with energy-saving metal-plastic ones. The contractor will strengthen the wooden rafter system with fire protection of new wooden structures. The contractor will replace the existing roof with a new metal tile roof. It is also planned to install a metal fence and snow guards on the roof.
The total area of the bathrooms to be overhauled is 124.9 square meters. New washbasins and toilets will also be installed. Rodnik has until December 31, 2027, to renovate the bathrooms and partially the roof of the clinic.
In the fall of 2021, Rodnik received a contract worth UAH 23.7 million to reconstruct the premises of the fourth floor of the clinic to accommodate a microbiological laboratory for testing patients with COVID-19. In the spring of 2024, Rodnik received another UAH 7.73 million for this purpose.
In 2023, the Housing and Communal Services Department of the Izmail City Council in Odesa Oblast concluded a contract without a tender for the repair of an apartment building damaged by a Shaheda attack in Izmail with the Rodnik private enterprise of Ihor Dekhtyarev, a member of the Izmail City Council from the Servant of the People party.
