In Odesa region, a man and his father attacked the military of the TCC. The court imposed on the suspect a pre-trial detention with the possibility of bail.
This is evidenced by the ruling of the Podilsky City District Court of Odesa Region.
The Odesa court ruled against a resident of the village of Lypetske, Kotovskyi district, who is suspected of attacking servicemen while performing their duties during the mobilization period. The incident occurred on September 16, 2025, at about 15:20 on the territory of the suspect's household.
According to the investigation, in the village, three servicemen of the TCC and JV went to check the documents of a local resident of military age. The soldiers stopped the citizen, who was riding a bicycle, showed him their service IDs and informed him that he had to come to the district recruitment center to undergo a military medical examination.
At that time, the suspect and his father were observing the situation and decided to obstruct the legitimate activities of the Armed Forces. The suspect took a metal chain and his father took a metal rod. The men approached the soldiers, began to threaten them and use obscene language. They did not respond to the requests to stop the illegal actions. After that, the suspect and his father struck the soldiers with their fists and metal objects. Seizing the moment, the conscript, whom the group came to check, fled the scene.
The investigation classified the suspect's actions as obstruction of the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during a special period, as provided for in Part 1 of Article 28 and Part 1 of Article 114-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The suspect was taken into custody with the possibility of bail in the amount of UAH 151,400. The lawyer asked for a more lenient measure of restraint - round-the-clock house arrest, referring to the absence of convictions and the admission of guilt. If bail is granted, the suspect is obliged to stay at his place of residence at all times, appear at every request of the investigator and comply with other procedural requirements.
Also recently, in Odesa, a man stabbed a TCC serviceman with a knife. The victim was hospitalized, and the incident was recorded on camera. When the man was asked to show his military registration papers, he pulled out a knife and stabbed the soldier, after which he fled the scene.
