During the year, the agricultural sector of Mykolaiv region received support worth over UAH 450 million. This is eight times more than last year.
This was reported by the press service of the Mykolaiv Regional State Administration following a public report by Vitaliy Kim.
In 2024, the agro-industrial complex of Mykolaiv region received a record state support of UAH 459 million, which is more than eight times higher than in 2023 (UAH 55 million).
This year, all key indicators of the agricultural sector have increased. From cultivated areas to lending to producers. We managed to attract international support, which helped the region's agrarians to work even in difficult conditions," said Vitalii Kim.

According to Vitaliy Kim, the growth of funding and the introduction of innovative approaches have ensured the stable development of the agricultural sector, which is strategically important for the food security of the region and the country.
In 2025, Mykolaiv region expects to receive almost UAH 560 million in support of agriculture. The support will come from both the state budget and international partners.
Farmers have also received more than 207 thousand hectares of land for farming. Farms specializing in both crop and livestock production are gradually being restored.
In 2024, farmers in Mykolaiv region exported products worth USD 700 million. This accounts for 96% of the region's total exports. For 10 months of 2024, farmers paid UAH 2.2 billion in taxes and fees, while for the whole of last year this figure was UAH 1.9 billion.
Exports of seeds and fruits of oilseeds brought in the most revenue - USD 86.5 million. Trade in cereals brought in USD 333.3 million, and fats and oils of animal or vegetable origin - USD 75.9 million.
