Hostile shelling damaged 22 houses in Kherson region and power grid in Dmytrivka

Over the past day, the Russian army shelled more than three dozen settlements in Kherson region and launched a series of drone attacks on communities in Mykolaiv region. There was damage to housing and infrastructure, and civilians were injured, but the air defense forces shot down several enemy drones.

According to Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Military District, at least 37 settlements in the Kherson region came under attack from September 21 to September 22, 2025. Among them are Ingulets, Shyroka Balka, Beryslav, Bilozerka, Tomaryne, Stanislav, Antonivka, and the city of Kherson.

The occupiers shelled residential areas, critical and social infrastructure facilities. Three high-rise buildings, 19 private houses, outbuildings, a garage and cars were damaged.

Two civilians were injured as a result of the shelling.

At the same time, on the night of September 22, the air defense forces shot down three Shahed-131/136 kamikaze drones over the region.

According to the head of Mykolaiv Military District Vitaliy Kim, yesterday the enemy carried out 14 attacks with FPV kamikaze drones on Kutsurubska, Halytsynivska and Ochakivska communities.

An overhead power line was damaged in Dmytrivka, but power supply has been restored. In Solonchaky, a fire broke out due to shelling and a private house was destroyed. A country house and a car were damaged in Lupareve, and another car was damaged in Lyman. Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries.

In addition, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Military District Ivan Fedorov said that over the past day, Russian troops attacked the territory of the region 624 times, covering 15 settlements. In particular, 12 air strikes, 402 drone attacks and 205 artillery attacks were recorded. As a result of hostilities, two civilians were killed and two others were injured. In addition, a fire broke out at a civilian infrastructure facility, damaging 15 multi-story buildings and 10 private homes.

From September 19 to 20, more than twenty settlements in Kherson and Mykolaiv came under fire. In total, one person was killed and four others were injured in the Russian attacks.
