The Cabinet of Ministers has allocated UAH 34 million for Mykolaiv region. The funds will be used to improve the water supply system to provide residents of the region with stable access to water.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy.

This decision is part of a government program aimed at stabilizing the water supply situation. According to the government document, changes have been made to the State Target Program for Integrated Water Supply of the Territories Affected by Military Operations. The program now includes a new measure, namely, filling the cascade of reservoirs in Mykolaiv region in November-December 2025. The State Agency of Water Resources has been appointed as the main spending unit.

The implementation of these measures is critical as they are intended to guarantee uninterrupted water supply for the population and the region's economy. In addition, filling the reservoirs will help maintain the balance of groundwater and create reliable conditions for the transfer of water resources to this low-water region of the Black Sea.

As a reminder, the restoration of electricity supply in Chornomorsk, Odesa Oblast, has been delayed. The electricity distribution operator DTEK Odesa Electricity Networks has reported that it will take longer than previously planned to restore power to Chornomorsk, which was hit by a Russian attack on August 31.

The attack left 29,000 subscribers without electricity in the city. The critical infrastructure is powered by generators and the city has opened "Points of Unbreakability". DTEK power engineers have restored electricity to almost 5,000 families after the night shelling.
