Fontanka to Invest ₴4.3M in New Skovoroda Street Road Construction

In the village of Fontanka, Odesa district, the construction of a local road on Skovoroda Street is planned. They are ready to spend more than UAH 4 million for this purpose.

This became known from the Prozorro e-procurement system.

It is a section of the road that stretches from Kiltseva Street to Nova Street. The project is funded from the local budget, and the customer is the Capital Construction Department of the Fontansky Village Council. The total cost of construction works is UAH 4 million 277 thousand 800.

According to the terms of the contract, the construction should be completed by December 31, 2025.

The tender documentation states that the new road will improve traffic between streets, provide comfortable traffic for local residents and contribute to the development of the village infrastructure.

Recently, prosecutors have terminated agreements for the development of project documentation for the overhaul of the T-16-18 road, with a total cost of more than UAH 5 million. This is the section between Rozdilna and Yeremiivka. These agreements were concluded in violation of budget legislation and could have resulted in unjustified spending of public funds.

Meanwhile, Rostdorstroy, a company owned by a member of the Odesa City Council, was awarded a large road contract in Odesa without an auction. It will be paid more than 20 million from the budget for restoring the road surface and filling in trenches after emergency repairs of heating networks.

Earlier, the Odesa branch of the state-owned Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority held a tender to select a contractor to be paid for the overhaul of roads. The company expects to pay UAH 21 million 476.2 thousand for the second and third stages of construction simultaneously, and the work, if concluded, will have to be completed by December 31, 2025.
