Natalia, a local resident, said she attends such events regularly because she has been waiting for news of her husband and father for more than two and a half years.

"We come to the rallies every Sunday, and not only in Mykolaiv. We travel around the cities of Ukraine with a big flag. We go to Kyiv to attend the rallies. We come because our husband and father have been missing for 30 months. We are looking, waiting, believing," the woman said.
