A tender has been announced in Odesa for the repair and maintenance of elevators in the Kyivskyi district. We are talking about those elevators that are located on the territory of the Chornomorsky Housing and Communal Services Company.
This is evidenced by data from the Prozorro public procurement system, according to the Center for Public Investigations.
The customer of the tender was the municipal enterprise "Chornomorsky Housing and Communal Services". The process of submitting proposals is ongoing until September 24, and an auction in the format of open bidding with special features is scheduled for that day.
The expected purchase price is UAH 9 million 507 thousand. These funds are to be used for the maintenance and repair of elevators in the Kyiv district from October 2024 to the end of December 2025.
The plan envisages partial repair and maintenance of elevators at six sites. The contractor is to conduct technical inspections, regularly repair damage, and maintain elevator cabins in good condition.
Recently, the Department of Municipal Economy of the Odesa City Council held a procurement to select a company to overhaul the elevators of a residential building at 159 Lustdorfska Road.
Earlier, the Standing Committee on Housing and Communal Services of the Odesa City Council approved the allocation of an additional UAH 85 million for the repair of elevators. The list includes 101 elevators for replacement and modernization. The deputies are proposed to increase spending by UAH 85 million, which will allow 66 elevators to be repaired in 2023.
It also became known that 60 elevators in Odesa have been arrested by the court. According to the deputy mayor, 1,700 of the 5,117 elevators in Odesa still need to be replaced or modernized. Instead, over the past five years, 1,942 elevators have been either modernized or replaced. The city budget allocates over UAH 900 thousand to replace one elevator.
