A session of the regional council is scheduled to take place in Mykolaiv, where more than two dozen issues are to be considered. Among other things, the deputies will decide on the fate of property, the reorganization of a sanatorium school and the early termination of the powers of one of their colleagues.

This is evidenced by the order of the head of the Mykolaiv Regional Council Anton Tabunschyk.

On May 1, the 29th extraordinary session of the regional council of the eighth convocation will be held in Mykolaiv. Although the order of the regional council chairman, Anatoliy Tabunschyk, has not yet been published, an official announcement has already appeared on the website. Traditionally, Intent will conduct an online broadcast.

The deputies are to consider 24 issues, including the transfer and write-off of property, amendments to the charters of the regional clinical hospital, children's clinical hospital and the phthisiopulmonary medical center, as well as the transfer of real estate to the regional center for medical statistics.

In addition, the agenda includes the reorganization of the Ochakiv Sanatorium School, changes to the composition of standing committees, and the early termination of Vysotskyi's deputy powers. Earlier, at the council presidium, the deputies discussed draft decisions, including changes to the Mykolaiv Oblast Development Strategy until 2027. Local communities are encouraged to align their strategic documents with the updated regional strategy.

Earlier, the Presidium of the Mykolaiv Regional Council considered an update to the Local Government Development Program, which provides for the awarding of the regional awards "For Merit to Mykolaiv Region" and "St. Nicholas Cross". Among the personnel decisions is the appointment of managers for a number of cultural and sports institutions: the regional palace of culture, the philharmonic, the school of higher sports skills and children's and youth sports schools. In addition, the deputies will consider increasing the authorized capital of the regional clinical hospital and the children's hospital at the expense of the regional budget.

In February, a new deputy joined the Mykolaiv Regional Council, replacing the one who resigned. In accordance with Article 206(2) and Article 283(3) of the Electoral Code of Ukraine, on February 24, 2025, the commission adopted Resolution No. 36 on the registration of Yuriy Mavrodiyev, a candidate from the Nash Krai party.
