The National Security and Defense Council has imposed new sanctions against companies from Russia and China, including a company from the temporarily occupied Crimea. The restrictions apply to companies that could supply equipment to the aggressor's military-industrial complex.

The relevant decree was signed by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

According to the document, the decree implements the decision of the National Security and Defense Council on new sanctions against companies and individuals from aggressor countries. The document enters into force upon publication, and the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council is responsible for monitoring its implementation.

The sanctions apply, in particular, to companies related to the military-industrial complex of Russia and China. Among them is the Research and Development Bureau of Special Aerospace Equipment (OKB SAO LLC), a limited liability company registered in Russia but actually located in the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea, in Sevastopol. The company is engaged in the development of special aerospace equipment, and now its assets in Ukraine will be blocked and its activities will be limited.

In addition to Russian firms, companies from China have also been sanctioned. The restrictive measures include asset freezes, a ban on doing business with Ukrainian partners, and other economic restrictions designed to reduce national security risks and support Ukraine's defense capabilities.

The new measures are part of the country's policy of putting pressure on the Russian economy and preventing the financing of their military activities.

Last year, Ukraine introduced a new package of sanctions against 66 individuals and 13 legal entities involved in the work of the occupation authorities in Crimea and support of the Russian army. The restrictions affected both propagandists and collaborators, as well as companies and institutions that integrate the peninsula into the legal framework of the Russian Federation.
