In occupied Sevastopol, a teenager was charged with terrorism

<span><span><span><span><span><span>A 16-year-old teenager was detained in occupied Sevastopol. The boy is accused of “terrorist activities.” </span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>The local minor was detained for allegedly following Telegram channels belonging to a terrorist organization banned in Russia. </span></span></span></span></span></span>

According to the Russian investigation, in February 2026, the teenager allegedly began following Telegram channels that disseminated the organization’s materials and ideology. Later, the boy allegedly filled out a form and contacted the channel’s administrator on his own.

After that, according to Russian law enforcement officials, the teenager was tasked with photographing various sites in occupied Ak’yar (Sevastopol).

Earlier in Crimea, a judge from the occupying Alushta City Court unlawfully ordered the deportation of a Ukrainian from the peninsula for refusing to obtain a Russian passport. The judge is now under investigation for illegal deportation. The Ukrainian man was taken to the Rostov region, where he was held for six months in a temporary detention center for foreigners before being forcibly returned to territory controlled by Ukraine.

The young man also witnessed targeted repression against Crimean Tatars.
