An amphibious boat and an electronic warfare system were struck in Crimea

Ukrainian military forces struck a Russian BK-16 landing craft and a “Krasukha-4” mobile electronic warfare station in the temporarily occupied Crimea. 

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the strikes were carried out on September 2 and during the night of September 3.

According to the General Staff, Ukrainian forces struck the BK-16 landing craft in Sevastopol. The extent of the damage is currently being assessed.

The BK-16 is a high-speed Russian boat used for operations in coastal areas and on rivers. It is designed, in particular, for:

• transporting and landing troops;
• providing fire support to troops;
• countering saboteurs;
• transporting light cargo;
• participating in rescue operations.

The Russian Black Sea Fleet has been receiving boats of this type since 2015.

Also, in the area of the temporarily occupied Sevastopol , Ukrainian military forces struck a “Krasukha-4” mobile electronic warfare system.

This system is designed to jam the signals of aircraft and helicopter radar stations. It can also interfere with the radar systems of drones and communication systems.

The General Staff noted that information regarding the results of the strikes on both targets is being verified.

As reported by Intent, in late August, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a training center for Russian occupiers in Sevastopol.

That same night, in the Olenivka area on the temporarily occupied peninsula, the Ukrainian military struck a “Nebo-SV” radar station, a “P-18” radar unit, and a mobile enemy communications complex.
