Contractors selected in Odesa region to repair checkpoints for 140 million

The Infrastructure Restoration and Development Service in Odesa region has held seven auctions to select companies that will be paid for the ongoing repair of a border crossing point.

According to the announcements published in the electronic procurement system Prozorro.

All auctions were held in the format of open bidding with peculiarities, but each one involved at least two bidders. Avtomagistral-Pivden and Road Construction Management 58 won the most contracts - two each.

"Avtomagistral-Pivden won the right to repair the Lesne-Seits and Maloyaroslavets 1-Chadyr-Lunga checkpoints. If the contracts are signed, the company expects to receive UAH 34 million 796 thousand for the two repairs. Road Construction Management - 58 LLC won the right to repair the Vynohradivka-Vulkenesti and August 1-Basarabianka checkpoints for a total of UAH 47 million 566.5 thousand.

According to the YouControl service, as of 2021, the sole official owner of Avtomagistral-Pivden LLC is Odesa businessman Oleksandr Boyko. Prior to that, the company was registered with Odesa residents Oleh Nalyvanyi and Valerii Korotkov. However, the media claims that Avtomagistral-Pivden, like another large road company from Odesa, Rostdorstroy LLC, is under the influence of London resident Alexander Zhukov.

Road Construction Management 58 LLC was registered in Vinnytsia region in 2014. The owner is Tamara Kiz.

The right to repair the Dolynske-Chyshmikiy checkpoint was won by Rostdorstroy, a limited liability company that expects to receive UAH 17 million 403.6 thousand after the agreement is signed.

The ultimate beneficiaries of Rostdorstroy LLC are currently Yuriy Shumacher, a deputy of the Odesa City Council and a representative of the Trust the Deeds party, and businessman Yevhen Konovalov.

Limited liability companies Berezivkaagroshlyakhbud and Eurodor won one tender each. The former plans to repair the Starokozache-Tudora checkpoint for 23 million hryvnias, and the latter plans to repair the Novi Troiany-Chadyr-Lunga checkpoint for 17 million 150 thousand hryvnias.

According to the YouControl service, Berezivkaagroshlyakhbud LLC was registered in Berezivka on Parkova Street in 2003. The owner of the company is Khachatryan Knyaz Arshaluyisovich, and Eurodor LLC belongs to Gevorg Avetisyan, a deputy of the Izmail City Council. The company was registered in 2005.
