Odesa's satellite town of Chornomorsk was cut off from electricity due to Russian drones hitting power supply facilities on the night of March 15.
This was reported by the mayor of Chornomorsk, Vasyl Gulyayev.
According to him, the enemy once again massively attacked the city with attack drones. At night, they managed to partially restore the city's power supply.
The power was partially restored in the city. I thank all the relevant services for their prompt work and elimination of the fire. The enemy has once again attacked en masse with attack drones. Due to damage to the energy infrastructure, the city of Chornomorsk is partially de-energized. We are rapidly deploying steadfastness points," the mayor wrote.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Odesa region, firefighters and volunteers extinguished fires caused by the enemy attack at night. Critical infrastructure was damaged, including a private house, a shop, and cars. One person was injured and hospitalized.
As of 8:30 a.m. on March 15, the Ukrainian Air Force Command confirmed the downing of 130 Shahed and other types of attack drones in Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytsky, Kirovohrad, Dnipro, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, and Mykolaiv regions.
38 enemy imitator drones were lost in the area.
On the night of March 13, Russian occupation forces once again attacked the Odesa region with kamikaze drones from the Black Sea. As a result of an enemy strike, a private garage caught fire in Odesa district. Also, in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district, dry grass and the building of a former medical facility caught fire due to the fall of enemy drone fragments.
A ballistic missile fired by the Russians at Odesa on the evening of March 11 damaged the Barbados-flagged MJ Pina and killed four Syrian citizens. The youngest victim was 18, the oldest was 24. Two more people were injured - a Ukrainian and a Syrian. They are being provided with the necessary assistance. At the time of the attack, the vessel was loading wheat for export to Algeria. Another vessel, berths and grain storage facilities were also damaged.
