In Odesa region, the investigation was completed and the case on registration of a fictitious enterprise that was planned to be used for illegal export of agricultural products was submitted to the court.

This was reported by the Bureau of Economic Security.

The BES detectives found that the director of one of the enterprises submitted documents with false information to the registration authorities to create a legal entity.

The Bureau believes that in this way the company's details were planned to be used to export unaccounted agricultural products through the ports of Odesa region.

During the investigation, evidence of the violation was collected, and the director was served a notice of suspicion. The indictment has already been sent to court.

Meanwhile, customs officers uncovered an attempt to illegally export 597 tons of sunflower oil, which is estimated at more than UAH 26 million. The oil was being transported across the Ukrainian-Hungarian border in ten railroad tank cars.

At the end of September, the BES detained grain that was being smuggled out of the port of Odesa.

Prior to that, detectives exposed an exporting company that had deliberately evaded paying taxes in a significant amount. They tried to export agricultural products through the ports of Odesa region to China.

Before that, the company's CFO decided to "save" on export taxes in Odesa region. Through her fraud, she avoided paying almost UAH 100 million to the budget, for which she will now be prosecuted.

Another financial director of a company in Odesa region will be brought to trial for tax evasion. Thanks to his scheme, the exporting company owed the state more than UAH 19 million, for which the detainee will be held liable.
