This was reported by the press service of the Odesa Regional Military Administration.
Five civilians, including two children, were injured as a result of another missile attack by the Russian army on Odesa. The enemy struck a residential area, partially destroying an apartment building and other civilian infrastructure.
After the missile hit, fires broke out in several apartments. Rescuers quickly arrived at the scene and extinguished the fires. Six apartments were completely destroyed, while 36 others sustained varying degrees of damage. The blast wave smashed windows, damaged ceilings and communications.
Five people needed medical care - three adults and two children: a boy and a girl aged 7 and 9. The children were hospitalized with combustion product poisoning, their condition is moderate. The adult victims received medical care on the spot and continue to be treated on an outpatient basis.
Rescuers, medics, law enforcement and utility services are working at the site of the shelling. Investigators are documenting another Russian war crime against the civilian population of Odesa region.
On the night of June 30, a Russian drone hit car repair shops and a storage area for special equipment of the Odesa branch of the Infoksvodokanal. The strike damaged several dozen pieces of equipment, including vehicles of repair crews, an excavator, tankers and sludge pumps.
The repair shop, as well as the premises of auto electricians and engineers, were destroyed along with all the equipment. According to the company, this equipment was vital for eliminating accidents on the networks, and its loss will significantly complicate emergency response.
The attack was another in a series of attacks in the Odesa region. The night before, on June 28, the enemy launched more than 20 drones at the region. One of them hit a residential high-rise building, killing two local residents - Mykhailivskyi Lyceum teacher Kateryna Borsynska and her husband Valentyn - and injuring 17 other people, including three children aged 3, 7 and 14.
