The consequences of a drone hitting a high-rise building in Odesa in the photos of Intent

Odesa region, according to the command of the Ukrainian Air Force, was the main target of a Russian attack on the night of June 28, when a drone hit a high-rise building, killing two people.

An Int'l correspondent visited the scene.

Currently, law enforcement officers have launched a pre-trial investigation into the commission of war crimes that resulted in the death of people (part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

On the night of June 28, the Russian armed forces attacked Odesa and the region with attack drones. It has been preliminarily established that the enemy used more than 20 unmanned aerial vehicles.

The attack killed two local residents and injured 17 others, including three boys aged 3, 7 and 14. Information on other possible victims is being clarified.

A 21-storey building, outbuildings on the territory of a private household, an administrative building, warehouses of a private enterprise, a building of a non-operational gas station, and cars were damaged.

An operational headquarters was set up at the site of the hit.

Meanwhile, on June 27, relatives and friends said goodbye in the city of Brovary in Kyiv region to Sergeant Volodymyr Kovalenko, who was killed while on duty in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, Odesa region, on June 22.

On June 22, the Odesa regional prosecutor 's office reported that at night, Russian armed forces attacked Odesa region with attack drones. Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district was under attack. Law enforcement officers launched an investigation into the commission of war crimes (Article 438, part 1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Fires broke out at the site of the strikes, burning buildings on the territory of the ambulance station, a garage and a car in it, and a nearby residential building.

The next day, the Russians launched a missile attack on Odesa region and destroyed a local educational institution in the city of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi. Two people were killed in the Russian strike in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi. At least twelve people have been reported injured. Three of the injured are in serious condition. Other wounded, including two teenagers, are in moderate condition. Another woman who was injured in the strike later died.
