Air Defense Forces defend Mykolaiv region's skies, shoot down drones

On the night of July 27, the sky of Mykolaiv region was defended by air defense forces and means.

This was reported by the Mykolaiv Regional Air Defense Command.

"Minus three enemy UAVs of the "Shahed" type / other types of drones on the night of July 27 in the region," the statement said.

As of 7:00 a.m., there were no attacks in the region over the past day.

UAH 500 thousand was additionally allocated to another military unit - from the local budget to the state budget at a meeting of the village council in Odesa region.

<span> </span>Exactly a day ago, a rescue house in Mykolaiv was destroyed in an enemy attack, which hurt the family who save others every day. Despite the destruction, they are finding the strength to rebuild their home and continue to work for the community.<span> </span><span> </span><span> </span>

Rescuers also eliminated crop residue fires three times in Voznesensk, Pervomaisk and Mykolaiv districts.

In Mykolaiv region, a teenager was recently awarded. He rescued his brother from a house on fire. The young man received the award from President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

Meanwhile, the police are investigating a possible collusion between officials of the Mykolaiv Regional Water Authority and a company from Odesa regarding embezzlement in the reconstruction of the water supply system. This refers to agreements concluded by the regional military administration with the contractor, Odesaspetsenergo. The police suspect collusion between officials of the city planning department and the company's management.

The Fortieth Separate Coastal Defense Brigade, which has combat experience and defends southern Ukraine from the enemy on a daily basis, has opened a recruiting center in the center of Odesa.
