Border guards of the Podil detachment detected nine men in the Rozdilnyansky district of Odesa region who were trying to illegally cross the Transnistrian segment of the Ukrainian-Moldovan border.

According to the press service of the State Border Guard Service of Odesa Oblast, all the men were quickly detained.

As it turned out, those wishing to illegally enter neighboring Moldova received online navigation instructions from the administrator of a telegram channel. The latter, in case of successful transportation of clients, was to receive 130 to 150 thousand hryvnias from each of them on a crypto wallet.

To realize their illegal intentions, the men spent three days walking to the border, covering a considerable distance under the scorching sun.

Border guards warn that such trips are not only illegal, but also dangerous to life and health.

Administrative reports were drawn up against residents of Kharkiv, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Dnipro, Poltava, Volyn, Donetsk and Vinnytsia regions for attempting to illegally cross the border, and the cases were sent to court under Article 204-1 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses.

Earlier, Slidstvo.info journalists learned that the organizers of schemes to smuggle men of military age across the border to the occupied territory of Moldovan Transnistria not only help evade mobilization, but also hand over Ukrainians to the Russian-controlled special service "PMR".

The journalist, pretending to be a woman who wants to take her husband out of Ukraine, talked to fifteen fugitives. It turned out that those who fled on their own were able to take a taxi to Chisinau without incident. And those who used the services of carriers for money were interrogated by the so-called Ministry of State Security of the "TMR".
