Timofey Anufriev, the son of conceptual artist Sergei Anufriev, was killed in the war in Ukraine. He fought as part of the Russian Volunteer Corps (RVC), which is taking part in the fighting on the side of Ukraine.
His death was reported by the Russian Volunteer Corps.
The RVC noted that Timofey took part in many combat operations: he went on assaults, conducted sweeps and captured prisoners. In a message on the telegram channel, he was described as a man who "lived and died like a true knight and poet," emphasizing that he would forever remain in the corps.
Tymofey Anufriev served as an assault pilot, had the call sign "Aeneas" and was awarded the medal "For Assistance to the Military Intelligence of Ukraine". The RDC did not disclose the exact circumstances of his death or the direction where it occurred. He was 22 years old.
According to what the military man had previously told The Insider, he was born in Russia, but spent a significant part of his life in Odesa, the city where his father was from. At the age of 18, he moved to St. Petersburg and entered the Faculty of Philosophy.
The RDC is a subdivision of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, formed in August 2022 by members of the Russian far-right movement. It carries out combat operations in the Avdiivka direction, Zaporizhzhia, the Liman direction, Svatove, and on the territory of the Russian Federation.
After the outbreak of full-scale war, Anufriev Jr. left for Serbia, and later joined the RDC and came to Ukraine. Explaining his decision to go to the front, he said that war is one of the states that a man must go through to become a person.
Tymofiy Anufriev was the son of the famous conceptual artist Serhiy Anufriev, a native of Odesa.
Last summer, in Odesa, we said goodbye to the defender of Ukraine Kostiantyn Oborin. His relatives, comrades-in-arms, volunteers, friends and residents of the city came to pay tribute to the fallen soldier.
He was known by the call sign "Kamikaze". He was the head of the Odesa Flying Club, a veteran of the war in Afghanistan, a soldier and a volunteer. He died on July 18 while performing a combat mission in the Dnipro region. Throughout his life , Kostiantyn Oborin served Ukraine - in the sky, on the front line and in the rear.
