A bank branch and a supermarket were damaged in the night shelling of Odesa

One of the branches of the state-owned Oshchadbank in Odesa was damaged by night shelling, including the entrance.

Also, according to Intent, one of the Kopiyka supermarkets was damaged.

"Unfortunately, one of Oschadbank's branches in Odesa, located at 55/1 Lustdorfska Road, was damaged by enemy shelling at night. Fortunately, only the entrance group was seriously damaged," said Serhiy Naumov, Chairman of the Board of the bank.

According to the Southern Air Command, on the night of July 22, the air defense of southern Ukraine neutralized 11 enemy Shahed and other types of unmanned aerial vehicles, all in the Odesa region.

In turn, law enforcement officers launched a pre-trial investigation into the commission of war crimes (Article 438(1) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, on July 22, at night, the Russian armed forces attacked Odesa with attack drones. It has been preliminarily established that the enemy used 12 drones.

A 41-year-old local resident was injured - the woman sustained a mine-blast injury and was hospitalized. The attack caused significant damage to civilian infrastructure: a 25-story residential building, a supermarket, a gym, and an administrative building were damaged. More than 30 cars were also damaged, at least 12 of which were completely destroyed by fire.

According to the State Emergency Service, cars were burning in the parking lot. Windows in a high-rise building were also smashed and a shop was damaged.

Earlier, a woman was killed in a nighttime attack by Russian drones on July 18 in Odesa. The attack also caused a fire to break out on the 6th to 9th floors of a 9-story residential building. The fire was extinguished by rescuers and volunteers. Five people were rescued from the burning apartments, unfortunately, one rescued woman died. Pets were also evacuated from the damaged apartments.
