In Mykolaiv region, it is planned to restore a village school damaged by enemy shelling. It is also planned to repair the shelter. It was decided to raise more than 25 million hryvnias for the reconstruction.
This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations with reference to the Dream digital recovery ecosystem.
It is planned to overhaul the building and shelter of the Kobzartsivska elementary school with a preschool unit. The project was initiated by the Center for Financial and Economic Services of Educational Institutions of the Snihuriv City Council.
According to the project description, the overhaul of the school building and the radiation shelter will restore access to full-time education for children and provide shelter for the entire population of Kobzartsi village.
The elementary school building with a preschool unit is a two-story building with a radiation shelter. The first floor houses the preschool unit - a kindergarten for 20 children. The kindergarten unit has a separate entrance with a double vestibule, a locker room, a playroom, a bedroom, a dining room, a bathroom, and a second emergency exit.
Also on the ground floor are common areas: a hall, a dining room, a kitchen, a laundry room, etc. The second floor houses the primary school: 4 classrooms for 12 students each, a computer room, a teacher's room, a principal's office, a library, a medical office, and toilets.
The project budget is 25 million 200 thousand hryvnias.
It is planned to raise UAH 17 million 292 thousand 312 for capital expenditures. UAH 7 million 861 thousand 80 will be spent on operating expenses.
Technical supervision will cost 276,815 hryvnias, author's supervision - 160,200 hryvnias, and other operating expenses - 3,231,833 hryvnias. Taxes will amount to UAH 4 million 192 thousand 232.
To meet the needs of people with limited mobility, the project provides for the installation of ramps, a stair lift to the second floor, and a bathroom for people with disabilities.
The facade of the school building also needs to be repaired after being damaged by shell fragments.
Also in Mykolaiv region, they came up with an idea to create a modern hub out of an old boiler room. More than UAH 17 million is planned to be raised for the reconstruction of the building. It is planned to reconstruct the boiler house into a multifunctional hub in Voznesensk. The main functions of such a hub include training, cooperation, innovation, and attracting investors. Funding is currently being sought for the project.
The repair of the bomb shelter for the lyceum was funded by Denmark, which provided two million. The contract for almost a million was given to a newly created company whose services are often used by the executive committee of the Mykolaiv City Council. In the two years of its operation, the company has already earned more than 22 million hryvnias in public tenders.
In addition, the windows of Pivdenoukrainsk Lyceum No. 2 are to be repaired. More than UAH 12 million is planned to be spent from the budget. The project envisages replacing 588 windows in the three-story building. The repair work is to be completed by December 15, 2024.
