In Mykolaiv region, the director of a company was accused of negligence for overestimating the cost of construction work on a school reconstruction. The trial is currently ongoing and a guilty verdict has not yet been reached.

On March 25, 2025, the Voznesenskiy City District Court of Mykolaiv Region considered a case on charges of official negligence against the director of Iveko-Bud LLC, which led to significant losses for the state.

According to the case file, in June 2018, the Oleksandrivka Village Council and Iveko-Bud entered into a contract for the reconstruction of the Oleksandrivka secondary school. Under the agreement, the company was to perform works worth more than UAH 15 million.

However, during the execution of the work in November 2018, the company's director did not check the actual scope of the processes performed and unreasonably overestimated the cost of construction work. As a result, the state suffered losses of more than UAH 102 thousand during the reconstruction of the school.

Similar violations were found in the second project for the reconstruction of a sports ground in Voznesensk, where facts of negligent performance of official duties were also recorded.

The director of Iveko-Bud is charged under Articles 191 (misappropriation, embezzlement, or seizure of property through abuse of office) and 367 (negligence) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The court continues to consider the case, and the accused is awaiting further court decisions on the punishment for the crimes committed.

Recently, the Veselynivka village council in Mykolaiv region signed a UAH 3 million agreement to install a shelter with Yulcom-Service, a company that had previously installed containers instead of full-fledged shelters.

In February, Mykolaiv Regional State Administration signed a contract with the private company Demsei for the overhaul of a shelter at the Novodesskiy Vocational College worth UAH 28.9 million. At the same time, this company is under investigation by the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine for possible collusion in tenders.

In addition, the contract for the renovation of the Mykolaiv Institute of the National Academy of Sciences was awarded to a company whose director has political connections. The tender has been announced three times, and the company's connections include interaction with the deputy head of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, Heorhiy Reshetylov.
