According to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, most of the records that patients consider "incorrect" are actually appointments during which vaccinations, procedures, or medical examinations were made, etc. The Ministry of Health asks not to confuse them with fake visits.
The ministry recognizes that when doctors work with the system, data on visits may appear by mistake, and there may also be abuse by doctors. There is responsibility for the latter.
The National Health Service of Ukraine analyzes each record and identifies discrepancies. According to statistics, about 10% of the targeted records are deducted from payment.
The Ministry of Health reports that in 2022 alone, 16,670 duplicate records were found in the primary healthcare system, which allowed avoiding unnecessary payments of more than UAH 5 million.
More than half a million patient death records were also checked. As a result, funds were not spent on services for "dead souls". This made it possible to redistribute UAH 158 million.
The Ministry of Health informs that if you notice a fake visit in your personal account, you should do the following:
File a complaint with the National Health Service by calling 16-77 or following the link.
Alternatively, file a written complaint directly with the management of the medical institution where the visit was recorded.
These actions will help the state to respond more quickly and send monitoring teams to medical institutions that receive numerous complaints.
