The data of the Climate Forecasting System<b>(CFS </b>) allow forecasters to predict that November in Odesa will be marked by above-normal air temperatures.
This was reported by the analysts of THE WEATHER LAB platform with reference to the CFS data.
The temperature increase is expected to be 1.5-2 degrees above normal for this period of the year in the city. Precipitation is forecast to be 20-30 millimeters below normal.
According to analysts, the average monthly air temperature in November for Odesa is 6.3 degrees Celsius, and the average precipitation is 39 millimeters.

The Climate Forecasting System or Coupled Forecasting System (CFS) is a medium- and long-term numerical weather forecasting and climate model used by the National Centers for Environmental Prediction (NCEP) to combine weather and climate time scales. The medium-term model forecasts at intervals of one week to four weeks, while the long-term model forecasts based on three-month moving averages for about nine months.
On September 30, an extreme rainstorm hit Odesa region. In Odesa, 11 people died during the storm - nine drowned, including a family of five in their home, and two others died of stress-related heart attacks while being caught in the city's current. The former mayor of Odesa, Hennadiy Trukhanov, two of his deputies and six other officials have been charged with negligence in connection with the storm. The mayor was placed under round-the-clock house arrest, and his deputy, Anna Pozdnyakova, under nightly house arrest. The others were sent to a pre-trial detention center with the right to bail.
