Last year, Ukrainian charitable foundations raised over UAH 24 billion in donations to support the Armed Forces. These foundations continue to support the military on the front line by helping them with the necessary equipment, machinery and other gear.

According to the Opendatabot monitoring system, in 2024, the three largest charitable foundations supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine raised a record amount of over UAH 24 billion, which is 28% more than in 2023.

The bulk of the donations were collected by the United24 platform, which received UAH 17.5 billion over the year, which is more than 70% of the total amount raised. Of this amount, 92% was directed to the needs of the Armed Forces. In total, over the three years of full-scale war, United24 has raised more than UAH 70 billion.

The Come Back Alive Foundation also showed significant results, raising UAH 4.4 billion, which is 18% of the total amount raised for charitable purposes. Over the three years of war, this fund has accumulated UAH 15 billion, which has also become an important contribution to the fight against the Russian aggressor.

The Serhiy Prytula Foundation has raised UAH 2.1 billion, bringing the total amount raised over the three years of war to UAH 8.5 billion.

December 2024 was a record month among the foundations. The United24 platform collected 61% of all donations in that month, and the Come Back Alive Foundation collected 27.5% of its annual fees. It's worth noting that as 2025 begins, charitable contributions continue to come in at a record pace.

Nova Poshta also continues to play an important role in providing humanitarian aid to the frontline and civilians. The company has transported 1.9 million parcels, including humanitarian supplies. Compared to the first year of the war, when the average number of parcels was 20,000 per month, last year this figure increased to 160,000 parcels per month. Over the three years of full-scale war, Nova Poshta has transported more than 3.1 million humanitarian aid parcels with a total weight of 118.2 tons.

The most common items sent to the frontline are parts for drones, technical equipment (tablets, radios, charging stations), as well as car parts and tires. Most of the humanitarian aid comes from Kyiv, Lviv and Dnipro regions, while the largest part of the aid is sent to Donetsk, Kharkiv and Dnipro regions.

Thus, Ukrainians continue to show extraordinary unity and support, raising record amounts to help the military and civilians. Charity remains an important element in times of war, as well as a driving force for strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities.

As for the South of the country, in 2024, despite a limited budget and the withdrawal of military personal income tax, Mykolaiv continued to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine by providing them with drones, cars, generators, starliners and other equipment. Over the two years of war, the community has allocated almost one billion hryvnias to support the Armed Forces, while Odesa has allocated almost 1.2 billion hryvnias for the needs of the military. Recently, communities in the Kherson region purchased equipment worth more than UAH 5 million and handed it over to the defenders, including drones and telecommunications equipment, which were also used by marine units.
