Criminal proceedings against the son of the head of the Odesa charitable foundation "Faith. Hope. Love" charity and volunteer Yevhen Fomin, who was filmed with money in his underwear, was closed due to the lack of corpus delicti.

This was reported by 368.media with reference to the materials of the proceedings.

In particular, law enforcement officers investigated possible facts of forgery and illegal use of humanitarian aid for profit under martial law.

After checking the materials, the pre-trial investigation was terminated, and the suspicions of fraud or illegal use of humanitarian aid were not confirmed.

The fact is that the man's certificate of unfitness for military service due to gout was issued by Olena Stanislavova, the head of the Odesa Regional Center for Medical and Social Expertise, who had been dismissed from her post on the eve of the scandal. At the same time, the State Bureau of Investigation reported exposing an organized group of doctors who helped healthy men of military age obtain medical documents that allowed the medical and social expert commission to declare them unfit for service.

A video showing the son of the head of the Faith, Hope, and Love charity foundation, Yevhen Fomin, lying on a bed in his underwear with money scattered next to him, was released in the fall of 2024. At the time, the head of the foundation , Tetiana Semikop , confirmed that the man in the video was her son, but stressed that he was not the deputy head of her foundation, and the money in the video was also not related to the foundation. She also said that the video was a revenge of her son's ex-wife, who even wrote letters to the UN. Instead, the charity's website stated that Yevhen Fomin was still the second deputy chairman.
