Two million for road cleaning: Mykolaiv announces an auction for improvement services

Mykolaiv has announced a tender for municipal improvement services. It is planned to spend more than two million from the city budget on mechanized vacuum cleaning of the roadway.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations with reference to data from the Prozorro procurement system.

The customer of the works is the Central District Administration. <span style="font-size: 1em;">The auction is scheduled for October 3, 2024.</span>

The expected value of the procurement is UAH 2 million 217 million. The minimum price reduction step is UAH 15 thousand.

According to the tender documentation, mechanized vacuum road cleaning should be carried out along the roadside. The width of the mechanized vacuum cleaning of the roadway should be at least 2 meters.

Bid security is not required.

The Contractor shall provide documentation on the availability of the equipment necessary for the provision of services, namely: at least three specialized vehicles equipped to provide mechanized vacuum cleaning services. Also, a base for garaging and servicing all the equipment specified by the bidder. Services should be provided until December 31, 2024. Payment will be made upon acceptance of the robots.

Also in early September, the administration of the city's Zavodsky district announced a tender for manual road cleaning in one of the city's districts. They plan to spend almost three million hryvnias from the budget for this purpose. The selected contractor will have to clean the streets of garbage until December 31 this year. The area to be cleaned is 840,000 square meters.

And Mykolaivvodokanal plans to hold an auction for the reconstruction of the water supply network. It was decided to spend more than eight million hryvnias from the budget. Thus, the water supply system is to be reconstructed along Admiral Makarov Street from Soborna Street to Navarinska Street.

In addition, Mykolaiv Parks will order a newly created private entrepreneur to purchase various trees and shrubs for the city. The seedlings will cost the city budget UAH 2.5 million.
