Mykolaiv Allocates ₴60M for Boiler House Reconstruction Tender

In Mykolaiv, a utility company has planned to hold a tender to find a contractor to reconstruct a boiler house. More than UAH 60 million has been allocated for this purpose.

This is evidenced by data from the Prozorro public procurement system.

Mykolaiv has announced a tender for the reconstruction of a boiler house at 11A Kurortna Street. The procurement is being carried out by Mykolaivoblteploenergo.

The procurement procedure involves open bidding with special conditions, where suppliers have to submit their proposals by March 27. The deadline for completion is December 31, 2025.

The expected cost of the works is UAH 60 million 642 thousand 950. And the size of the minimum price reduction step is UAH 606 thousand 429.

Bidders are not required to provide a security for their bids. The selected contractor must provide documentary evidence of experience in fulfilling a similar contract.

It is also required to confirm the availability of the following specialists and skilled workers: electric welders; gas cutters; installers; instrumentation and control technicians; an occupational safety engineer; a qualified work supervisor (foreman) with experience in performing similar work and at least two years of experience; electrical installers, commissioning and testing engineers.

The works include final construction works, including the reconstruction of the boiler house. Official payments are to be made in advance in the amount of 20% upon invoice and 80% upon completion.

In the city of Novyi Buh, Mykolaiv region, a major overhaul of a part of the water supply system is planned for UAH 11.45 million. The tender for a contractor was announced by the Vodoprovodnye Netsy utility company of the Novyi Buh City Council. The works are to start on April 1, 2025 and be completed by August 31, 2025.

In addition, major repairs of the heating main on Pogranichna Street are planned in Mykolaiv. The private joint-stock company Mykolaiv CHP announced an open tender with an expected project cost of UAH 34.4 million, and the work is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
